Don’t let our "Rosies" die without knowing we appreciate them and their contribution to America!

Some "Rosie the Riveters" have died before we were able to interview them, including Ruth Wroblewski, our President’s mother. We have stopped much work to interview the 15 women who have contacted us since March 29, when a Charleston Gazette–Daily Mail ad told of our "search for Rosies."

Please help fund this important project to collect stories of women who worked "on the home front" in World War II. West Virginia women were known to be good "Rosies." These women are over 87 years old.

Garnet Kozielec, 92, tells her story. Garnet was taught riveting in Charleston, then she helped rivet major aircraft in Michigan and California during World War II. Veterans who work with us, under the lead of John Haulotte, are proud to honor women such as Garnet as part of our effort for young and old to work together to show pride in West Virginia.

Any contribution you can make helps us capture these stories to show pride and respect for these West Virginia women before it is too late. You may contribute to other projects or to our overall effort, as well. Our IRS tax–exempt number is 42–168–4691. You may use Pay Pal or ground mail to contribute.
